Cheers…Weekend Pleasures!

May there never be a time when wine loses it’s magic for me. ~ Alder Yarrow

I understand is a prayer of  Alder Yarrow at Vinography. His blog is a wonderful find I stumbled on about the treasures and pleasures of wine. I’m usually at a loss as to how to choose a nice wine, so I was thrilled to find his site which is insightful, interesting and fun. All this is to say that the weekend is here! How incredibly sweet are weekends?

Connecting with friends and persons we love over a delicious glass of wine is a wonderful way to begin the weekend. Chatting and letting go of the work week and that which brings stress. Take a break and enjoy a nice glass of wine, really, any sweet beverage that’s enjoyable, for not everyone drinks wine.  Time with friends over our beverage of choice is always a nice way to usher in the weekend. I know we are all incredibly busy, but we forget the joys and pleasures of spending time with friends. I think it helps us. This time of enjoyment and relief lends a nice new energy to the must do’s that are so much a part of our daily life. Why not take a moment to relax and enjoy… and very important… a good laugh and time well spent with friends and loved ones are good for the heart…

ahem… nice!

  1. What’s your beverage of choice for kicking back on the weekends?
  2. If you are a wine lover how do you go about choosing a nice wine? It can be somewhat of a mysery, can’t it? Do share…

I’ll leave you with another quote by Alder Yarrow… I’m so excited to find his website. If you are a wine lover… dew drop in!

Cheers Loves!

“Sometimes this feels vaguely religious.I have such faith in the mystical conversion of simple grapes into something that transcends its origins, even as it transcends fruit itself. I give thanks for the magic of aromas of honeysuckle, caramel, mint and chocolate created solely by wood and grape juice.”
