Are you getting enough sleep?

I learned from KC’s Blog about a talk given by Arianna Huffington at tedwomen about her big and simple idea of getting enough sleep. Huffington speaks on, not only some of the dangers of not getting enough sleep, like the time she fainted from exhaustion, hit her head on her desk and the injuries that ensued, she also speaks quite convincingly and humourously about the benefits of getting enough sleep. Check it out at tedwomen it’s pretty good.

This is great for me to hear because I sleep a lot. I sleep between 8 and 10 hours a night normally. I’m a big fan of sleep, I have always derived such pleasure from sleep. Can you tell I love it? It it is one of the pleasures in life, along with eating, among others.

The idea is, sleep is good for our health and well being. Also, the rest we gain helps us to be more alert, productive, as well as interesting and interested in our daily lives…

    I watched this TED Talk too & loved! The Dalai Lama says even he needs his 8 hours of sleep a day. ” )
