If you are lucky enough to have lived in Paris, then wherever you go for the rest of your life, it stays with you, for Paris is a moveable feast.

I believe it was Ernest Hemingway who shared this gorgeous sentiment! But first, the above photo and quote is totally from the beautiful blog fashioned by love! I just love popping in on Lil Russ and indulging in the loveliest fashion goodies along with her inspiring perspective on all things fashion. I hope it’s alright that I share with you this quote and photo from her blog… you see, I like so many, have a desire to spend some time in Paris. I suppose it is a dream of so many of us… Very few of us are not crazy about the idea of passing time, in the sweetest sense, in such a gorgeous city.

I remember while there on vacation, stopping in one of those delicious shops that sell Quiche and such, and I bought a pie with salmon… ohhh is it the butter?! They say when something tastes heavenly, it’s probably the butter…  I was very American in this moment, or maybe even more, very much a New Yorker when I passed through the narrow streets of St. Germain with pie in hand, peeking in on the prettiest shop windows while delighting in such delicious tastiness…

I’ll dedicate this post to my dear friend Susu from Susu Paris Chic, as she is tip toeing patiently towards new ground as she is leaving Paris… but as Hemingway says, Paris is a moveable feast!

Thanks LiL Russ for such inspiration!

Paris does stay in us, with us. Just like your friendship, dearest.

Still patiently awaiting, now on the Riviera. Gosh, how sweet it feels to be back here. Jogging in the pink sunset. God’s given “stay still time”.
